3D Product Animation
A selection of my recent work in 3D product design animations for commercials and pitches.
This is a short ad pitch I created for the Hellfire Hot Sauce brand, this flavor is called Inferno de Ajo Rojo. I'm really happy with this ad, all of the 3D was done entirely in Blender 3D. I also created the music and sound effects which was a lot of fun
This is 3D Product Design animation demo for a Sports sneaker brand. I used lots of new techniques for the shoe surfaces, cloth, fabrics & particle simulations. I also created the music and sound FX.
This was a product design animation pitch for Zeus audio headphones. Very enjoyable exploration of surface material techniques and inflation modifiers for the ear pads. I also created the music.
This was a product design animation pitch for Volvic Strawberry flavored water. Created in Blender 3D using standard modelling for strawberries, subsurface scattering for strawberry skin, liquid simulations & physics for water splashes. I also created the music & sound FX.
3D Character Animation & Film
Man vs Beach : A short film which is a black comedy about an average schmuck having a hard time with Seagulls on a hot beach. I started it in 2020 during lockdowns and worked on over weekends and evenings after work until completion in December 2022. It has appeared in various short film festivals around Europe & America.
A collection of clips from various episodes of Brain Freeze Season 2. I modelled, textured, rigged, animated, lighting/rendered all of the 3D environments and characters here, not the puppets. All of the rest of the Compositing, special FX and colour grading was done by director Ian Kenny and the rest of the Brain Freeze team. A great Kids TV show to work on.
Motion Design
A selection of some of my favorite motion design projects over the years, some for TV shows & online commercials, others were just for the sake of experimentation and learning new techniques.
The luggage pickup. Mr.Pink helps a friend move apartment and is surprised by the contents of their suitcases.
Space Captain & Taggart the Alien are under pressure from advancing enemies, they discuss a plan to move forward. I used sample dialogue from a very famous 1970's comedy movie to try to create a new world, try and guess which one.
